Our Datacenter will be conducting emergency network maintenance this evening from February 24 @ 10pm – 2am CST to address the underlying condition that has caused the two periods of packet loss and latency that were experienced earlier today. During this time, you can expect to have several other periods of packet loss and latency.
An unknown traffic condition has twice now triggered DDOS_PROTECTION mechanisms on the datacenter core routers, which resulted in a disruption to networking while IGP sessions were reestablished. A maintenance window has been scheduled this evening to try and address these underlying conditions.
